I'm Kavi: a civil engineering student learning to understand the physics of the world. One day I'll live in another country where I have my own land to live sustainably and surround myself with those I love.

I love relationships, dance, crafts, and taking photos .

This journey is about me learning to love.
So let's love together, shall we?
Here’s what you need:
Tile coasters - 10 cents each at hardware stores
Mod Podge
Sponge brush
Polycrylic Spray
Acrylic paints and brushes
I just drew out what I wanted on my coaster in pencil and then filled in the designs with the paint. For my sun design I had to outline the design in white so that my colors didn’t bleed when I mod podged it.
After you paint your tile, take your sponge brush and paint a coat of mod podge on it. I waited about twenty minutes between each coat and did about 3 coats.
I waited about 4 hours after my last coat of mod podge and then I sprayed the polycrylic. This stuff just makes your coaster waterproof. I did 2 coats of this waiting 20 minutes in between.
And voila! You’ve got personalized tile coasters perfect for a house warming gift!
